The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 which was unveiled August 2 in New York is like Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with a stylus. Samsung jumped right from last year’s Note 5 to the Note 7, omitting the Note 6 entirely.
The internal specs are nearly identical, and that means it has also inherited the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge’s waterproofing (IP68) and great cameras as well. It is the first waterproof Galaxy Note, it’s the first smartphone with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the first Galaxy phone with USB-C port and iris scanner.
