Huawei Nova Lite Specifications

The Huawei Nova Lite smartphone was launched in February 2017. The phone comes with a 5.20-inch IPS LCD touchscreen FHD display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels.


The Huawei Nova Lite is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 655 processor with 3GB RAM, Mali-T830 MP2 GPU, 16GB storage that can be expanded up to 128GB microSD. It will have 3000 mAh non removable battery and measures at 147.2 x 72.9 x 7.6mm and 147g. It will also have Android 7.0 and with Huawei’s latest EMUI 5.2 user interface. It is currently available in black and gold.

For taking pictures, it gets a 12MP main camera with PDAF and a 1.25 micron pixel size. Over at the front, the Nova Lite gets an 8MP camera that supports panoramic selfie. Despite being a budget device, it still comes with a fingerprint sensor which Huawei claims you can unlock in just 0.3 seconds.

This smartphone is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts dual Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G and 4G . Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope. The Nova Lite has Dual SIM capability, which means that you can insert two different SIM cards and use them both from one phone.

Huawei first announced the P8 Lite (2017) at CES 2017 as a successor to the original 2015 edition of the P8 Lite. Now a new rumour claims that same phone will be sold in some countries under a different name – the Huawei Nova Lite. However still, this device is good as a budget mid-level smartphone.
